In the middle of the 19th century, the first coffee beans were brought to Vietnam by French colonists, but the Vietnamese quickly tasted a wonderful drink and now can't imagine the morning without it. Locals even add yogurt, eggs and fruit to the drink. Vietnamese coffee is difficult to confuse with something and impossible to forget. The coffee growing region is Son La province, a province in the north-west of Vietnam. It borders Laos in the south.
