Brazil Mogiana – natural arabica comes from Mogiana, one of the three coffee-producing regions of Brazil. The name "Mogiana" comes from the name of the old railway (Mogiana de Estrada de Ferro), which was created at the end of the 19th century to support the large-scale expansion of coffee plantations in this region. The appearance of the railway significantly reduced the cost of transporting coffee, which, in turn, contributed to the dynamic development of the region's economy (ALTA Mogiana accounts for up to 50% of coffee production in the state of Sao Paulo).
